Story time will be held on Mondays in January at 11am. There will be stories, crafts and snacks. This is an excellent opportunity to meet new friends and get creative together! Your preschoolers will have such a great time that you’ll want to take some books home to keep the creativity flowing.
Coffee, Tea and Crafting
Bring your current craft project to the library January 16 at 2pm and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. This is a great opportunity to show off your latest creation and get some inspiration for your next project.
Cook The Book
Cook the Book will continue with the new year. Please bring your favorite soup or stew. We have some wonderful cookbooks here at the library to help you get started! We will sample each other’s wares and then load our own bowls to take home. Please come and share your talent and your soups! At the end we will have a drawing for a cookbook. Ellen will be hosting this even on January 14, 6pm at the library.
Stuffed Animal Sleepover
Bring your favorite stuffed animal to the library January 24 at 5pm for a pajama story time, and then leave them overnight for a sleepover! Super-secret cameras will catch them as they check out all the fun things to do at the library. Pick up your animal (and a photo of their library adventure) the next day.
For Children of All Ages.
There will be a discussion of the book Sidney Chambers and The Shadow of Death by James Runcie at the library on January 30 at 2pm. Copies of the book will be available at the desk. If you can’t join us in person you are welcome to leave your comments on Facebook.
